Tourist Visa
Tourist visas for Kyrgyzstan generally may be obtained from a consulate or an embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad, or on arrival at Manas Airport in Bishkek. For 28 European countries no official invitation is needed anymore to obtain a touristvisa, valid upto one month. These countries are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the USA.
Citizens from the above mentioned countries do not need to register with the OVIR anymore.
Do you however need another type of visa or for a longer period, please contact us, some specific new rules maybe applicable to your situation.
The following countries do not need visas for Kyrgyzstan:
Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzergovenia, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Georgia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Malaysia (for upto 1month), Moldavia, Mongolia (for upto 3 months), North Korea, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey (for upto 1 month), Ukraine, Vietnam, Yugoslavia.
But within three days after their arrival, citizens have to register themselves at the OVIR.
If departing from a country without a Kyrgyz consular or diplomatic mission, an official representation of Kazakhstan or Russia will issue visas for travelers to Kyrgyzstan. However, these countries usually still demand an official invitation disregarding Kyrgyzstan's new regulations on facilitating traveling.
For an official letter of invitation Horizon Travel needs the following information of the client: full name, date/place of birth, passport number, date/place of issue and date of expiry, nationality and residence.
Take into account that the MFA in Bishek needs 10 working days to supply us with your invitation, which Horizon Travel will send to the client and the Consular agency abroad.
The visa fee varies to the consulate or embassy, approx. E60 for a single entry for one month. For more details for exact procedures, contact the embassy in your region.
If you are short in time and still want to come to Kyrgyzstan, it's possible to make your Touristvisa upon arrival at Manas Airport in Bishkek. The Consul at the Airport has to be informed in advance, so if you want to make use of his services, please notify us!
